Personal Protection Training
 
To provide a basic understanding of vulnerability management, Levi Montgomery is offering 2, two hour "Personal Protection" training sessions.  This will not be the typical "self-defense" training of kick and punch, but simplistic, reality based training in attack prevention through awareness. The first session will address your options if attacked and the law as it pertains to self-defense...this is NOT instruction on how to fight. The second session will be hands-on and is a continuation from the first so it is important that you attend both sessions.   
 
Due to the nature of the training, attendance will be limited. The cost for this training is $200.00. There will be a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to reserve your seat. The training will be a combination of lecture and hands-on so wear comfortable clothing. There is a reduced rate available for additional family members. Suggested age limit: 14 + with parent.
 
Topics that will be covered in lecture are...
* understanding human nature
* developing an awareness of your awareness
* preventing contact panic
* developing confidence in your abilities to deal with an attack
* Weapon awareness
* Legal awareness
* what and what not to say to the police
 
Some of the topics in the hands-on:
* developing safe space
* addressing the "magic touch"
* escapes from the grab
* vital anatomy and points of release
